The Chemung County Democratic Committee is pleased to announce the opening of its 2020 Democratic Campaign Headquarters at 203 College Ave., Elmira, on Friday, September 25 at 3:45 PM. The press and public is invited to attend. Chemung County Democratic Committee chairperson, Dora Leland, said, “This is the most important election in many years, and will have a profound impact on our nation, our state, and our community. The Chemung County Democratic Committee is dedicated to electing Democratic candidates across the ballot.”
The office will be open to the voting public during the hours listed below. There will be information about the candidates, their positions on various platforms, campaign literature, voter information and voter registration forms, as well as candidate yard signs.

Democratic candidates running for office in 2020 include: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for President and Vice-President; Tracy Mitrano for the US Congress representing New York’s 23rd Congressional District; Leslie Danks Burke for the New York State Senate representing the 58th District; Randy Reid for New York State Assembly representing the 124th District; Judge Elizabeth Garry for re-election to the New York State Supreme Court representing the 6th Judicial District; and Mike Seifert for Elmira City Constable.
We will be following strict Covid Guidelines which will posted on site. FACE MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED!
The Campaign Headquarters hours are as follows:
Beginning on September 28: Mon-Sat 2-6 PM; Sunday Noon-4 PM
October 1 through October 10: Mon-Sat 2-6 PM; Sunday noon-7 PM
October 11 through October 24: Monday-Friday 3-8 PM; Saturday 10 AM -7 PM; Sunday 12 Noon-7 PM
October 25 through November 2: Monday through Saturday 10 AM-8 PM Sunday 12 Noon- 8 PM
Election Day November 3: 8 AM-10 PM
