ELMIRA,NY- Chemung County Democratic Committee has chosen to endorse Judge Elizabeth Garry for her reelection bid for the State Supreme Court’s Six Judicial District during their February 25th meeting.
The Chair of the Chemung County Democratic Committee Dora Leland said this about the vote, “Elizabeth Garry has done exceptional work as one of only four Presiding Justices in New York State. Judge Garry has been instrumental in shaping statewide judicial policy. She has been the voice of our region in Albany. The committee is deeply grateful for the work she has done on behalf of all New Yorkers. We are proud to support her for reelection.”
Judge Elizabeth Garry excited about the endorsement stated, “I am very grateful for the support of the Chemung County Democratic Committee! It has been an honor to serve our community as I have worked my way up the judicial ladder, from my election to NYS Supreme Court in ‘06 to becoming the Presiding Justice for the entire region.
